Description:

Adol and Dogi arrive in the city/kingdom of Altago, only to be unfairly arrested by a corrupt knight. Fortunately, King Kiermarl bails them out and asks them to explore the nearby ruins and investigate the legends of the island of Altago landmass.

This game is the first to feature the party system and Flash Guard mechanics, but also ditches platforming mechanics. The skill system is based not on elemental magic, but on weapon-based techniques that consume SP, which can only be gained by using normal attacks and Flash Guard. Basically, it's a completely different beast from the Napishtim games.

Try to guard against the tornado attack so you can get easy Extra gauge. After dealing enough damage, it'll turn into a giant dark form that can only be damaged at its tail. After even more damage, it'll get on all fours, leaving its face as the only weak point.

Afterwards, go to various areas, including Iska, for more scenes and dialogue.
