Description:
Adol and Dogi arrive in the city/kingdom of Altago, only to be unfairly arrested by a corrupt knight. Fortunately, King Kiermarl bails them out and asks them to explore the nearby ruins and investigate the legends of the island of Altago landmass.
This game is the first to feature the party system and Flash Guard mechanics, but also ditches platforming mechanics. The skill system is based not on elemental magic, but on weapon-based techniques that consume SP, which can only be gained by using normal attacks and Flash Guard. Basically, it's a completely different beast from the Napishtim games.

Fortunately, the Earth Altar is easy to access, as long as you remember to wear the anti-spike shoes.
The Earth Sanctum involves some sap puzzles, where you make a bunch of smaller flowers bloom in order to make the large teleport flower bloom. Be sure to check out the synth shop once you get a lot of Earth Stones.

The first phase isn't too difficult to deal with in terms of attack patterns, though you may want poison resist. The second phase will be much harder to use flash guard tactics on, since the boss can only be damaged right after it does its biting attack. You'll have to flash guard the biting attack and then unleash a normal skill or extra skill.
