Description:

Adol and Dogi arrive in the city/kingdom of Altago, only to be unfairly arrested by a corrupt knight. Fortunately, King Kiermarl bails them out and asks them to explore the nearby ruins and investigate the legends of the island of Altago landmass.

This game is the first to feature the party system and Flash Guard mechanics, but also ditches platforming mechanics. The skill system is based not on elemental magic, but on weapon-based techniques that consume SP, which can only be gained by using normal attacks and Flash Guard. Basically, it's a completely different beast from the Napishtim games.

For some reason, Mustafa can deal extra damage to the boss, much like Elk did to the spider boss. Unlike me, you should find a flash guard opportunity near the boss's core to take advantage of this. It also has an attack that you can interrupt, though I've never actually seen it go off.
