So, yesterday we got our first real deep dive into the upcoming game, Hogwarts Legacy. My expectations were pretty low, I’ll be honest. Because the developer, Avalanche Software, has been making Disney tie-in games for the last 15 years - with their most well-known games being the now defunct Disney Infinity series.

But I have to say, I was really impressed with what was shown of Hogwarts Legacy yesterday. We got 15 minutes of gameplay, characters, and settings, and I couldn’t really find something meaningful to be disappointed about. I was half-expecting more impressive graphics, but then I found out that this game will come out on all consoles, both current and last gen, as well as the Nintendo Switch. So, all things considered, I don’t even think the graphics are that disappointing.

I feel crazy believing this, but I kind of think that this might just be the game that Harry Potter fans have been dreaming about for all these years. Do you agree, or am I being overly optimistic?
