But first - Players enjoying Elite Dangerous on Xbox received a huge letdown on Thursday with the announcement that console development for the game is suddenly ending. Frontier CEO David Braben said the only option for advancing the game was to "focus on a single codebase"
While that may be bad news for some xbox players, there's good news for all of us with the announcement from Microsoft that Series X and S consoles can now download updates in Energy Saver mode. VP Dave McCarthy writes that the update is part of the company's goal to be carbon-negative, water-positive, and zero-waste by 2030.
Meanwhile there's buzz about a possible codename leak for the NEXT next gen of xbox. Data miner Tero Alhonen spotted the product code name KEYSTONE right next to Durango and Scarlett, which just happen to be the pre-production codenames from the two generations of Xbox. But that's the only real data here, so let's not make too big of a deal just yet.
