Agent Hugo: RoboRumble (GBA) Playthrough [4K]
"Agent Hugo: Roborumble" is an action game developed by Program-Ace and published by ITE Media for the Game Boy Advance in 2007. It's part of the Hugo the TV Troll franchise and a sequel to Agent Hugo. It was released exclusively in Europe.
A new adversary, Geekdorph, aims to take control of all living beings and establish a robotic reign over the world. To achiveve this, he has launches an invasion on the city of Aquapolis, a threat that Hugo has successfully stopped earlier. With this new threat from Geekdorph, Hugo sets out on a mission to infiltrate the villain's factories and uncover their vulnerabilities. For this, Hugo has a companion, the TEX 2000, an intelligent hoverboard.
The player use portals to traverse through three different environments; the desert, city and space. There are a total of nine levels, consisting of three different modes - a collectible race, a robot destruction track, and finally the traditional time-trial race. The first two are a little bit more tactical as you have to be plan your routes to be able to collect as many points or destroy as many enemies as you can. The time-trials are more keeping the speed up and having fast reflexes.
The gameplay is simple and fun - for a while. This would have worked well for a mini-game, or one gameplay type mixed with other forms of gameplay. But with only nine-playable tracks all about racing the hoverboard, the game is too simple and short to be very exciting.
