Akka Arrh is a Minterized remake of an Atari arcade game. Like Tempest 4000, it's by Llamasoft. The original arcade game never got past location tests, but there is a port of it in the Atari 50 compilation.
The new version has a chain system. A chain starts when you use a bomb, and enemies hit by this will cause another explosion that can chain into others. Bombs are unlimited. But if you drop another bomb, you're going to reset the chain. Enemies killed in explosions will give you bullets. You CAN run out of these so use them carefully. Some enemies will create an explosion when shot.
Your base has pods stored on the lower level. Enemies that get there will try to steal the pods. Go down and pick them off. If the last pod is swiped... lights out.
