Being a port of the arcade-perfect Saturn version, it also includes original Elevator Action. You can turn on a "new" sound mode to play EA1 with some of the sequel's sound effects. EA1 is already unlocked for you in the S-Tribute release, while the Saturn one requires you to beat EA2 for the first time before it's available.
EA Returns has a trophy for scoring 500.000 points. This is hard, but you can do it. The key is to take advantage of bonuses. Points scored in a blackout area are doubled. So are enemies' point values when you kill them with melees, rockets, or bombs. Both of these can stack to give you 4X kill values. Taking food or drink while at full health will give you points.
To get the final stage clear trophy, you have to finish the last section within the 180 second time limit and earn the good ending.
