Beneath this game's cute graphics is a difficult and very peculiar take on the traditional shooter, even more so than Atomic Robo Kid. Instead of firing weapons, you throw punches from 4 different directions at enemies, but you can upgrade your punches to be even more powerful in shops where you can spend money defeated enemies drop.

It's an interesting idea, and I've always found this game somewhat compelling, but because the punches are very short range, this does end up being something of a rather difficult game despite it's deceptively childish look. And the collision detection is inconsistent, and this can be very clearly felt during the boss battles.

However, it is fun enough to make it worth a look, plus the soundtrack is pretty good too.
