The NES Alfred Chicken is an unusual version of the game. Whilst this at first glance seems to be similar to the Game Boy and Amiga versions, it's different in it's own way.

Mainly it's because this version is drastically cut down, featuring only 5 of the 11 stages from the Game Boy and Amiga versions. However, most of the features are intact including the hidden rooms and all boss battles, which actually seem a bit more challenging in this version than the others. It's just most of the more challenging later levels have been removed and this version is a lot easier, indeed I beat this version the first time I played it.

It's still a great game, but a rather cut down version- if this is the only version you've played, you need to play either the Game Boy or Amiga versions for the full experience.
