It took me a very long time to finally get Hotel Mario emulated in a satisfactory fashion, so I'm jolly well gonna get some pointless fun out of it. Although you can't see me navigating the option menus in the emulator, I change the emulation speed numerous times in this video, playing Hotel Mario at a variety of speeds. The slowed down coin collection sound at 8:27 is a lot like the official Mario coin collection sound.

Playing Hotel Mario at a slower speed is actually a sensible idea, as I have found out since my initial video that this game gets very difficult later on (particularly as in this hotel you have to clear 2 sections in each stage, and if you die on the second section, you must restart from the first) in the game and playing it slower can help.
