Alice: Madness Returns Part 17: The Show Must Go On
0So, after entering the very odd fish town, we have to find the Carpenter in hopes that he can explain to us what the heck is happening within our wonderland. Most of this video is just us simply parkouring our way there so I think I should talk about a particular enemy they informally introduced for this level. Usually, they have this big scene where a new enemy type will appear with a title card to allow us to know what their names are but, that is not the case for the Drowned Sailor (that is the invisible enemy throwing bombs at us). To be fair, they do introduce it formally later down the road but, when you initially see it, it is rather confusing as to how to defeat it. Even though I have played this section of the game previously, I had completely forgotten how to fight this enemy and only having an epiphany during this video. In order to kill them, you have to force them out of their invisibility and then wail on them during the short window when you can see them. While they are holding the bombs, and readying to throw them at your face, you have to shoot them with your Pepper Grinder which will knocked them down. I wonder how many people have already yelled at me for not doing that already or how many people stuck around for this very odd game.
