0So, after returning back to Jack’s office, we are asked by Tassiter to once again help him and the board of Hyperion out by checking out the infected areas within Helios. If you don’t remember this, when we were trying to stop the laser, we found out that there was this terrible infection that had affected the undeveloped area of the base. The infected souls looked surprisingly like the rats from Borderlands 2 and I was wondering if they were ever going to give any real backstory to these guys instead of a simple message; Wondering if they were going to explain that the rats from Borderlands 2 were in fact these infected few that made it to Pandora. Unfortunately for us, I don’t remember them doing anything of the sorts (I don’t think we ever really understood how the infection even started, let alone if it spread anywhere off the base) which is kind of sad, it could’ve been rather interesting. Instead, we get yelled at by Tassiter for not pressing the right buttons in the correct button (even though they never explained which button did what); Luckily for us, we didn’t have to go back to Jack’s office to keep picking up this mission like I had feared. That being said, they do something similar to that shortly after I complete these missions.
