Alice: Madness Returns Part 26: All out of “Drink Me” Bottles?
0So, after making our way through that twisted mess of reality and corruption, we then find ourselves a rather odd waterfall where I guess Caterpillar is sitting at. The only real problem is that we appear too big to see him so, in order to alleviate that, we then shrink thanks to help of some sort of gas. I do joke about that absence of the typical bottle that Alice usually drinks (the one that is labeled as “Drink Me”); I’m well aware that we walked into a pond of that liquid at the beginning of the game which allow us to shrink on command but, it did seem a little weird and convenient that some random gas has the same ability. Regardless of all that, we are now the correct size to talk with Caterpillar but, seeing as the mission isn’t quite over, we still have to climb atop of the mountain to get to him. For some reason, this entire mission has this Asian theme to it; Not complaining, just simply wondering how it ties in with Alice in Wonderland (the previous missions made some sense-That Walrus and Carpenter eat a bunch of clams so an underwater mission makes sense etc.).
