So, after dealing with the side missions, we then headed our way into the Enemies excavation site which, surprisingly enough, led to a rather odd boss fight. I don’t really like all to many of the boss fights within the game since most, if not all, can summon other enemies to the fight which makes them get too chaotic. I can understand having one or two boss fight that summons adds (If it makes sense to the character; for at least one phase of Zarpedon’s fight, I can understand her having guardsmen trying to defend her) but all the fights that I remember have adds which makes these fights less epic and more of a chore to get through. I think it says a lot about of boss fight when I’m more worried about being overran by the adds than the actual boss which was the case for this fight. There are times where I’m fairly sure that they are only there so that when the player gets knocked down, they can kill the adds in order to get a second win. Other than that, they seem to just clog up the battlefield and become more of an annoyance than anything because you have to deal with their damage output while dealing with the boss itself.
