So, after jumping to my death several billion times, we finally cross the bridge of cards and have made our way to the Queen’s Castle. I’ve noted several times that I’ve not played the original game so I don’t completely understand the backstory behind this iteration of the Queen but, from what I can tell, it seems as though Alice has already fought with her previously and killed her (That being said, I’m not really sure if anyone truly “Dies” within this world and, if they did, this mission would be super quick). On top of that, it seems as though the land she once ruled is now in complete ruin and her faithful card servants are…different (don’t won’t to spoil them too much). I do spend quite a bit of this mission trying to backtrack to something that may or may not be a collectable; I thought I was going towards a collectable but, when more of it started to open up, I started to panic and attempted several times to jump across this massive gorge to get to another place. Long story short, things did not go quite as well as I wanted but now I know that there might be a collectable there. I could’ve just gone back around the exact same way as I arrived but, I was having a hard time trying to get back into the air vents that were there (I actually fall through one so, either I’m utter dog-poop at parkour or that pathway closed off).
