Alice: Madness Returns Part 33: Waking the Frog
0So, after going through another photograph, we stumbled upon another picture-based puzzle which means we now have to hunt for the missing parts. It is pretty much the exact same task as the first picture puzzle in that we have to find the four missing parts that are scattered within the nearby region; I don’t think these puzzles ever differentiate outside of the image on the puzzle itself (that being said, I do believe that this is another Chinese dragon image, much like the first puzzle we encountered at the beginning of this level). After that, we then head on out to find several ants that are locked up in cages. I wanted to note this because I thought the Wasps where just solely murdering the Ants which makes me wonder why they are then imprisoning them. We never really get much information about what is happening in Wonderland so they never explain the motives behind the Ants or the Wasps (maybe the Ants killed the Wasp king and now they want revenge; Who knows?). Since I haven’t played the original game, I’m not sure if they outline the prior history/we get to see it unveil itself but, playing this game by itself makes me question it a little. Regardless, we also stumble upon a rather large toad that might be able to help us.
