Alice: Madness Returns Part 44: Twisted Realities
0In order for me to rant/ramble about this video, I will be mentioning some spoilers so if you haven’t played/watched this section before, I would advise you to stop reading this. So, after meeting the Red Queen, she gives us a hint at who might want us to forget all about the fire and then things got very weird. After being eaten by the queen, we wake up to find ourselves inside of an insane asylum with a very rude Nurse who puts us through quite a few gruesome scenes. As we walk through the Asylum, we get to see all the messed-up things they did to us which I think I could’ve done without, I do like sleeping you see and this was a little too much. I do want to mention a really cool scene where we can see Tweedledee and Tweedledumb standing on the ceiling while their real-life counterparts on standing on the floor which makes me wonder which characters are based off of real people, which are fantasy and how they would influence each other (Did we have the same conversation with their real counterparts? Are the characters from Wonderland mere images of the people from the real world and all in our head? How do our actions in Wonderland translate over to reality? Etc.). Either way, this level is very obscure and odd which actually makes the next level feel rather normal. Well, a little.
