Shadowrun Returns: Dead Man’s Switch Part 31: A Cybernetic Friend
0So, a lot of things have happened in the last video; Currently, we are under fire from these seemingly-immortal beings that have been sent here to murder our faces off and our only hope is that someone can hack into the computer system and help us escape in time. I don’t think we have a decker on the team (it has been a while since I recorded this so, I don’t quite remember) but, luckily for me, the prisoner they had here is an expert in hacking. The interesting thing about this fight is that we transition between two different battlefields at the same time; One in the real, Meat world against the immortal beings and the other is in the cybernetic world. I don’t think there was any way for either battlefield to interact with each other (Like flipping a switch in the cyber world would set off a trap or something like that; the only exception would be the door controls that we are looking for) which is kind of a shame. The deckers don’t really feel like they do too much within the game world since we’ve only had to hack at least two times this far in the game; Wish they had more things to do within the cyber world that could affect the real world, that’s all.
