Dead Space Part 15: Something Smells Funny Here
0So, after quickly dealing with the Child of Humanity, we then can move towards the Hydroponics Deck where most of the food is kept/made (think of it like a really nasty farm that has now been infected by the Necromorphs). We were told that something was infecting the air and we were able to pinpoint the location to this deck but, we needed to create a chemical to combat it which we did during the second trip to the Medical bay. I do want to quickly talk about the anti-climactic fight with Humanity’s child for a second; As I explain in the beginning of this video, I’ve already played this game before and remember how to beat him although I didn’t think it could be done that quickly. Since the Necromorph is basically unkillable, we used a cryogenic chamber to freeze him so he wouldn’t bother us again. You hit him with a blast of kinesis which will slow him down and allow you to run into a small room and hit the switch to activate the machine. Even though I made it look relatively easy, it did take me a while to understand and execute the plan out. Either way, we now have to reestablish fresh air or else something might happen to the others since they aren’t wearing a mask like us.
