Alien: Isolation failed playthrough Part 1
2This is one I've been looking forward to. Supposedly, a good Alien game. The franchise is interesting, but hit or miss. A whole lot of "repeating the same story over and over" (Aliens v Predator 2, Alien: Colonial Marines, even other Alien media keep repeating the 'Weyland-Yunti corporation is evil and sacrifices people's live to try to capture the xenomorphs that it already knows exist' plot). But this one seems to be designed to be a direct sequel to Alien. ...Again. Different characters and setting this time. We'll see how it pans out.
Though the game already has one very, very big strike against it. I don't really do 'stealth' that well (so that's going to be a problem later when I have to deal with the actual xenomorph), so I just took out the humans in my way. One of whom dropped a revolver. And I'm not allowed to have it yet. Because this isn't the part of the story where I pick up a gun. Even though one is RIGHT THERE.
