6This Aliens Dark Descent game guide video shows how to avoid the xenomorph in the Server Room on the Pioneer Station. It's the toughest part of the game's Prologue.
Once the cut-scene in the Cerberus Room has ended complete the stealth tutorial by heading towards cover and pressing the crouch button. From now on start observing the xenomorph's movements on the big map - it's marked as a white dot. Don't leave cover when the creature is heading your way or when it's relatively close (it's got great senses).
When searching for new cover make sure that a green dot is visible so that Hayes won't suddenly stand up and stop relying on stealth. Pick one of the side paths towards the exit so that you'll have plenty of cover along the way. Don't rush it and hide immediately after noticing the yellow line. Approaching the exit will trigger a cut-scene and you'll join the marine squad.
