🔥 Resource Rush Event
A shocking discovery rocks the universe: Imprint technology is failing, and death may not be defeated after all! Emperor Addison loosens scientific restrictions, leading to a race among the four corporations of the Stanton System for a crucial research contract. Battle for resources by:
Resource Gathering: Acquire and collect important materials.
Cargo Salvage: Recover cargo from stranded or stolen ships.
Assisting Attacked Ships: Defend cargo ships against waves of pirates.
Transportation: Deliver processed resources to secure victory.
The corporation with the most collected SCU at the end of the event wins! Note: Players with a CrimeStat of 3 or higher are ineligible to participate. Track global progress with the new Global Event Tracking Service in the mobiGlas Journal, which combines posts across all shards. This event only runs during the 4.2.1 release, so don't miss out!
🛡 ️ New Ship Escort Missions
Take on the Ship Escort mission archetypes, available in Stanton and Pyro under the Foxwell group. Protect friendly ships as they navigate to hangars at asteroid mining bases or escape into the Quantum Leap (QT). With six difficulty levels and scrip rewards, these missions offer intense space combat and strategic gameplay.
⚔ ️ PVP Interdiction Update
The Interdiction system is back and better than ever! The reworked backend restores the snapping functionality to its pre-server meshing level, allowing players to snap ships that initiate a QT jump on another server. However, there are some known issues in 4.2.1:
Players can still calibrate to navigation targets while in a snapping field.
Occasional rubber banding back to the interdiction location.
Issues loading the snapping gear (workaround: toggle the gear on/off or wait a short while).
Ships that begin QT before activating the snapping cannot be snapped.
These issues will be addressed in patch 4.3.0.
