Alpha Polaris pt1/4 (w/timestamps)
first i want to make a correction, because the university of Copenhagen offer both Arctic studies, and inuitology & Arctic studies, these are two diffent majors, though related. And also I want to acknowledge what i might not have made myself clear on, in the slide. That this game is not AT ALL offensive, it is but the term/language is outdated in regards to how the world is today. I felt like i had to mention it, because where I live, this is a huge deal for obvious reasons.
Also dude, I have to say it, Rune Knudsen is not a very Norwegian name. It's super Danish however. My brother is named Rune, no lie.
So the game? I fucking loved it!! it was really an unexpected gem. I hate the 3d models they are hideous, but you learn how to ignore it. at least they are semi decently animated. The reason i had to split it up into the 4 days the game span over, is because it kept crashing on me, and so it was just safer to not record it for long.
When I say NOTE down, i mean you sit with a pen and paper in front of you. this game does not remember things for you.
TIMESTAMPS FOR IMPORTANT MOMENTS & ITEMS
04:17 - check the birthday card on the pinup board, NOTE the date. look at the keys hanging there, you need them later.
07:51 - pick up tranq rifle, rope, packing tape & EGPG flag.
08:25 - pick up the kit in the lab, this is including tranq darts, tracker and reversal syringe.
12:47 - suggest 'snowmobile' or 'sled'.
13:07 - tie the ratchet strap on the bear, then to the pole in the cage and then to the snowmobile. give reversal syringe to bear in cage.
15:16 - pick up antibiotics
19:09 - pick up the tray from the fume hood, place it on the table
19:39 - examine the hide, NOTE the cartouche, made of 3 different images. and pick up the bones.
20:27 - place bones in tray and pour distilled water on them, and then acid. place the tray in fume hood.
21:29 - use the EGPG flag on the table saw, get pole. use syringe on antibiotice and add the syringe w/antibiotics to the pole, and then use packing tape.
22:59 - remember where Rune leaves the pole.
Of course remember to talk to everyone, and in doubt just click them to see if a new dialogue branch showed up. you want to exhaust every conversation with everyone.
the same goes for the nightmare section.
