Again, remember to keep talking to people, they give you information, and important plot. I chose to explain the tracking puzzle in it's entirety, because I struggled myself, so maybe I am not the only one.

timestamps:
10:38 - pick up your laptop and the triangular device on your desk, combine them in your inventory.
11:13 - be sure to pick up the real rifle before heading out. you don't need to find bullets.
12:44 - use your notebook to see which polarbear we are tracking, and it is the last on the list. ALO339 - you need to NOTE this down.
13:36 - now go to the front of the station, and with your back to the snowplow, take out your multitool and note what your cordinates are NOTE the number down (for visual - mine were 190.) then open the laptop, click on the triangulator and type in ALO339 under collar ID, becuse that is the bear we are tracking. Then type in your cordinate, and click plot 1. Take 15 steps forward, as you are prompted (i accidently took 16 but it worked anyway), open your laptop and click on the triangulator program again, and click plot 2 - you should get a ping on the bear's collar.
17:19 - open your laptop and click the proxytrack program. click on map, chose the first option in the drop down menu (east Kalek), and you have a map of the plateu. Then click import and import ALO339, which is the tracker unit from the collar. then you get a path with points on it. then chose datapoints and click your way down, to see what info they have.
19:50 - pick up the bones in the fume, they are almost clean. use your multitool to scrape off the last calcification, and see what is underneath.
23:37 - read the article Nova gives you - it is important, but you keep it in your journal so you can use it for future reference. But I do advice you to NOTE the figures down, so you don't have to open your journal all the time.
25:23 - investigate the hide, and compare the symbols in the upper cartouche to the ones in your article.
for 1 suggest: EAST - because the article says west, and have a setting sun - this is a rising sun, ergo it's in the east.
for 2 suggest: TRIBE - because it's a cluster of peoples, you have a drawing of one inuit in the article.
for 3 suggest: ISLAND - you have the symbol for water and symbol for cliffs in your journal, so as Rune comments, a rock in water.
32:12 - look at the cake recipe, go to the basement and look at what is on the shelves.
32:34 - pick up sponge cake, meringue poweder, syrup, and the fire exstinguisher. be sure to check the box that says 'ice cream' to get a hint on how to make icecream.
34:12 - pick up Absinthe from your room.
34:47 - in the kitchen, pick up a bowl and place it on the table, and then pick up sugar and cream. Do as the 'ice box' suggested for making icecream, and then do as the recipee says - and you have baked Alaska.
41:01 - look at the map in the lab. make a mental note of where Al found the bones, is the same place as your polar bear went before turning around.
45:41 - make sure to take the tranq rifle before heading out.
