Signs of histrionic personality disorder are difficult to notice. Who isn't dramatic from time to time? We all have friends, family, coworkers, and spouses who display exaggerated emotional responses and traits of histrionic personality.
It's important to understand how these traits impact you emotionally and psychologically because these individuals can be A LOT! Increased hyperactivity, impulsivity, dramatic displays of emotion, accusations, abusive tactics, false suicide threats, manipulation, etc. can truly take its toll on you.
