On Wednesday I discussed the signs that you have been (or are) traumatized by an alcoholic family member. https://youtu.be/mtoUC2lY-oM. I stated in that video that I would discuss ways to manage the challenges you may be experiencing as a result of alcoholism. But I decided to split the videos up.
Alcoholic family members can be difficult to deal with and feel almost impossible. Some individuals can tolerate alcohol while others cannot. Alcoholic family members may also struggle with undetected or poorly treated mental health challenges.
Trying to make life work with an alcoholic family member will require much of your strength and patience.
In this video, I will be discussing ways to manage your own emotional and psychological challenges as a result of alcoholism in your family.
