Here is an extra part where I show off some things I wasn’t able to show off in the main walkthrough.

First off, at 0:15, I show all three possible endings. First one appears if you take more than four hours to beat the game, second one appears if you take between two to four hours, and the third one appears only if you beat the game in less than two hours. Next, at 0:33, I start showing Samus’s death animation. Whether you are standing or in Morph Ball, they appear to be the same.

At 0:50, I show the multiple ways that the Queen Metroid can be killed. In order: shoot Missiles into her mouth, go into her stomach using Morph Ball and plant Bombs, shoot a Super Missiles into her mouth, shoot three Super Missiles at her head (as I did in the final part of the walkthrough), and finally, planting a Power Bomb inside her stomach.

At 2:20, I show how you can select and deselect your equipment, first going through the suit and then the many combos of beams (nine combos if I recall using the four beams). After that, I quickly show how the Spider Ball seems very reminiscent of how it appeared in Metroid Prime through the different suits at 6:51. After that, I show a shortcut that can be used to quickly reach The Nest at 7:04.

At 7:17, I start to show AM2R version 1.1. Interestingly enough, the Image Gallery previews now have a green shade to them. Immediately, when I load up one of my save files, at 8:10, I show a small bug with the Gravity Suit when Samus jumps straight up. Seems to be related to how the Gravity Suit invisible glitch was fixed in this version.

At 9:16, I finally go through the new door that appears in this version. It leads to a transport that takes you back to the Hydro Station! Seems that it is a pretty nifty shortcut to have. Doubt it can be accessed until all the Omega Metroids are destroyed though. Finally, at 10:26, I show that the Out of Bounds glitch at the Area 3 entrance has been fixed. Unfortunately, that means that early Power Bombs are no longer possible.

The next extra part will be posted when there is another update to the game. Also, I’ll be uploading my under two hours 100% Hard Mode segmented run shortly. Hopefully the path I use will help others beat the game in less than two hours as well.
