AMD have been busy the past few days, with the Threadripper 1900x finally launching at about 50 - 100 dollars more expensive than the Ryzen 7 1800X. The threadripper 1900x features 8 cores, 16 threads just like the Ryzen 7s, but of course has the x399 platform benefits, including quad channel memory support.

AMd have also announced that in about 3 weeks time we'll see formal support for NVMe bootable raid with up to 10 SSDs.
