187Today we archive an indie horror game that is made by a very talented developer. It is the same developer who created Graveyard Shift and Homeless and though I have not played the first game yet, Homeless was a very scary and awesome game. Amenti might even be better as we head towards the tombs inside the Pyramids of Egypt.
It is a setting that has not been used much in horror games, but proves to be very effective. It was awesome to explore all the dark hallways and dig sites. Some of the scares were also very effective. The graphics are top notch which made the game all the better since I was stunned by the details of the Egyptian art style. There really is not much to critique here. I might have liked it if there had been more sections during the daytime since it would have been even prettier, but it might not have been that scary if it was. This developer has proved themselves over and over again and I cannot wait to see what they will do next.
