Replaced by Sad Cat Studios is an Upcoming 2.5D Action Sidescroller that melds cinematic platforming, free-flowing action and a compelling narrative into one game- a game that boasts one of the most beautiful renditions of pixel art we've ever seen, no less. Replaced lands on Xbox and PC (Arriving day 1 on Xbox Game Pass) some time in the second half of 2022, and has currently shown 2 short features that have blown the minds of basically anyone who's seen them. In this video I'll break down some of what's shown in Replaced's trailers, what the devs have said in interviews and their discord regarding the game, and what some of my opinions are on the subject matter and combat that the game is presenting.
