Despite being heavily inspired by the likes of Hades, Dead Cells, Risk of Rain, Nuclear Throne, and Binding of Isaac, Blade Assault finds a way to convert those inspirations into a fun final product with its own charm rather than creating a hodgepodge of roguelike mechanics. Blade Assault releases on PC in its 1.0 state the day of this review, January 17th, and if you couldn't tell by my review, I completely fell in love with it
