An Opposing Viewpoint on Paper Mario's Vivian
57I can't fight how I feel about this anymore. I've felt this need to rant for months now about something in the TTYD remake that has left me bewildered as to how this was considered excusable. Vivian was a TTYD character I used to believe was a great character. However, the remake stunted a lot of the reasons I believe she was such so good in favor of restoring a censored part of her characterization. This however ended up being at the expense of Beldam and as a result, it makes me downright livid as her story no longer works for what it did in the original game. Moreover, Beldam has proven to be a victim of a witch hunt. And I seek to clear her name of the slander she has been subjected to. There's plenty more to shame her for anyway, we don't need to make reasons up. Let the Shadow Witch Trials be over.
