Halfdan meets with Skylla to exchange pleasantries and discuss that peace treaty. As long as his higher ups don't flat out veto it, Halfdan seems interested in drafting one up as much as Skylla wants. If nothing else, we might just have a reliable ally to call upon in the future.

Jakka leaves the tent for a bit, but not before telling Skylla he has an idea he wants to run past Skylla and see what she says about it. Hope you like more chatting it up with fellow army members since there's plenty of that to be had here. There are some highlights worth mentioning though.

First up, Jaheira will fly in for a chat herself. She mentions that she hasn't heard from Tendaris in a long time and is worried about his safety. Considering there might be an internal conflict happening over there, her fears are well founded, giving you a choice to send her back to Timaet. This does take her out of your army for a bit, but there's a rather good upside to doing this unlike what the game claims. You won't be seeing that upside until her return though.

To be fair, sending Jaheira to Timaet should be based on if you have another dedicated flier you're using like Shay since the next chapter is going to heavily benefit from having one.

The other highlights come from conversations with Albert & Angelus. Albert feels like the Skadi might try to pull a fast one, given their backstory.

Angelus though gives the most interesting conversation by mentioning one of the big bads of the demon realm, Asmodeus. He says if you see Asmodeus, you should just run like hell as he's way too strong...on a guy that's the youngest AND weakest of the big bad demon realm no less.

When you're done chatting, take a look at the shops. There's some good stuff such as buyable Shining Bows for my Runa to take advantage of. Considering how well her training's going so far, she'll definitely appreciate a couple of these to keep everything nice & simple for her.

When Skylla's available to be talked to in her tent, take it. Jakka runs his idea past Skylla which is to find Tyronar and put a stop to any plans for war amongst the other clans he might have. Skylla seems up to it, but there's two problems...first, fliers are a no go since they'll get shot down by Warriors. Secondly, she's only going to commit to this plan if Clan Berserk agrees to the peace treaty. Strength in numbers they always say.

As for the specifics on how to put the idea into motion? We'll just have to see what happens in the next chapter and go from there.

There's also a small scene back in Malthrak. As if Mortimer wasn't enough of a big jerk, he seems to have struck a deal with a certain Kangax fellow involving the castle's dungeons. That's surely going to end well!
