"Angry Birds Trilogy" for PlayStation 3 is a compilation of the first three games of the popular mobile game series: "Angry Birds", "Angry Birds Seasons", and "Angry Birds Rio". The game takes flight for the first time ever on game consoles, offering over 100 hours of addictive gameplay. It includes 19 exclusive levels that cannot be found in the original games. The player controls a flock of multi-colored birds that are attempting to retrieve their eggs, which have been stolen by a group of hungry green pigs. The objective of the game is to eliminate the pigs on each level by launching the birds using a slingshot, either hitting the pigs directly or damaging the structures, causing them to collapse and pop the pigs. This compilation also includes additional content packs, such as the "Anger Management Pack" and the "Fowl Temper Pack", which offer new and exciting levels from fan-favorite episodes. The game was co-developed by Rovio Entertainment, Exient Entertainment, Housemarque, and Fun Labs and published by Activision. It was released on September 25, 2012.
