In this arcade boxing game, players take on the role of Ippo Makunouchi, a young boxer who dreams of becoming a champion. The game follows his journey as he trains and fights to become the best boxer in Japan. Players are challenged to punch, dodge, and defeat each opponent in the order they appear in the anime. The game offers a variety of moves that players can practice and master.
The story of the game follows the manga/anime storyline of Hajime no Ippo, which is about a high school student named Makunouchi Ippo who starts boxing to defend himself from bullies. With the help of his coach Kamogawa Genji, he learns how to box and eventually becomes a professional boxer. The game was released on December 11, 2014.
