Quite confident in how awesome I've played, I mention this game being too easy (with a secret hope that theres an LJN level that tests my limits like before). Oh I get my wish.... right up my ass!

FINAL TOWER 1 is a giant virtual boy level. Very vertical and extremely tricky in parts. They even bring back a remix of the original LJN music.

My first big trouble is when they mix up death rays with spinning fireballs. Screw those fireballs! You gotta hug the wall with small jumps, with the fireballs on in your grill, and jump through between lazers.

Another big time BS setup is jumping through a teleporter, then being stuck between 2 sets of skulls above and below and having to time your jump to hug the wall, then jump up when the skulls are off. (I figure this out in play 05 but in 04 I just get lucky a lot).

The single most BS'iest part is about 3/4th through the level. Theres a spinning fireball set on top of 2 skulls. You have to climb the wall, then jump over the skulls. I keep trying to climb as high as I can but then hit my head on the wall when I try to jump over. I'm tired and losing my focus by this time. I can see with a beer before and a beer after that its best to take a hit on the fireballs and just try to clear the skulls (which are instant death). I wont get the positioning figured out until the next play.

Theres a small section with hungry hippos. I never even get close to clearing it without taking damage the whole time. The checkpoints are real close to each others. The developers knew it was tough.
