Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures 2 Complete Playthrough (play 05) Last Level and Ending
0Okay, I was way too tired by the end of the last play. A good nights sleep and the knowledge that I gotta do some rough gameplay brimmed me with anticipation! By the time I got home from work, I was more than ready to rock it! I get caught up on the teleporter skulls part. I finally get past by deciding to try to go right from the teleporter and climb out instantly instead of waiting. IT WORKS!
The two skulls with fireballs is figured out as well. Just do a clean but low jump over the skulls and take a hit on the fireballs.
Theres a conveyor part with skulls, I finally get there with enough men to train myself to not jump and get it done. Theres a large opened up section with jumps and spikes and lots of baddies. It wasnt that hard though and I had spread too. At the top you fight nostalgia critic. Im not sure how you're "supposed" to fight him. My strat which always work was to treat him like protoman in Mega Man 3. You actually wanted to charge protoman and go under him when he jumped. This works here to and critic cant take the damage that his homage could either. OH THANK GOD!
I was expecting another Final Level or 2 but the game says F it and throws me right at the final boss. Unlike the first game, you dont have to play through the last section to get to him and the boss is also way easier and no bottomless pits. It takes me a couple of men to figure out the hands. I manipulate the left hand minding that as it comes up, it still moves toward you. I run to the edge and duck to avoid that. Stay out of the middle when both hands are in play. I also started using charge shots to save my personal stamina(I get tired mashing buttons like crazy). All this and quick thinking helps me keep my cool. I use my keg and blast him out. Thankfully no second form!
I get a "you didnt get all your crap ending." OH WELL. My opinion is that if I need a walkthrough to find the "real ending" then its not the real ending at all. I'll stick with the ending I earned. Lol, I'm not very good at visual novels btw. Their endings are nearly always tied to secrets and hidden conditions.
Overall, I liked the Virtual Boy level a good bit.... but its not as awesome as the LJN level from the first game. And Giant Robot Guy is no Fred Fochs.
