Test Subject 1337 here for Aperture Gaming. They make it, we test it, you play it. It's time to Blow Off Some Steam with A BOSS Review. The game being reviewed is Survival Fountain of Youth. It was released in April this year and still in early access status.

In the Early 16th Century, Juan Ponce de León set off in search for the Fountain of Youth. This is your chance to play as him, now with amnesia! You are tasked with surviving in an archipelago after a shipwreck, and trying to find the fountain. You will have to survive the elements, fight animals, build and craft items, tools, and etc. in order to survive. I've played games of a similar nature before like this, but this seems to be a little more difficult. I'm guessing since it's early access and it's always tough when you start with little to no resources.

While the save feature is a bit of an issues, with it happening whenever you exit, there are no real bugs or other issues. Speaking of bugs, if you have a fear of spiders, scorpions, and or snakes, this game features those but they said a feature to remove them will be made available later on.

The environment looks great, I really like the water visuals, and I like the balance of nature and quite with the occasional musical segments. I'm hoping this game serves as a good warmup before I try playing another crafting survival game.
