Let's be honest, Apex Legends has been through a ton throughout the years.
Yesterday was an update on some buffs and nerfs, got that timestamped to skip ahead.
Now what I was saying...Apex is still here, 6 years. I remember playing WoW back in the day, every year, there was going to be a new WoW killer.
Yet here World Of Warcraft is. Still going..
Now the reason I am making this video is yesterday there was even more buffs and nerfs.
Got me thinking.
Since this last season, I have been noticing more updates, news, game mode rotations than ever before.
Written Buffs & Nerfs:
Ash:
-Increased ultimate's max distance travel time from 1.4s - 2.5s
-Increased ultimate's minimum distance travel time from 0.3s - 0.5s
This is noticeable and it feels like alter going up to height, so that push is going to be much more noticeable now.
Mirage:
-Increased the number of decoys created during Mirage's ultimate from 5 - 6
Now not huge, but interesting they are paying attention to Mirage.
Conduit:
-Increased tactical health regen per tick from 3 - 4
Conduit passive still needs to be addressed, but based on the TTK this is a step to making conduit more viable, but also not breaking the legend.
Seer:
-Decreased the time for Seer's tactical to hit targets from 1.4s - 0.8s
-Decreased the time for Seer's tactical to finish from 1.0s - 0.9s
A slight buff making the tactical more viable, a legend I fear when buffed will be too good. Scan meta in my opinion is never fun, but Seer is one of the lowest pick rates in the game.
Weapons:
-Increased Hemlok headshot damage by 2
-Increased Hemlok magazine sizes by +3 for the base, white, and blue mags
Hemlock now is more viable compared to the Nemesis, before it was not as picked up but it gives it more of an option.
-Normalized the Volt hipfire to match other SMGs
Slight buff that helps make the volt better. Because its ammo count for energy makes sense to balance it out.
-Increased all SMG headshot damage by 1
This is to encourage the fact P2020 is just highly picked.
-Decreased P2020 damage from 25 - 24
Which is interesting because the P2020s I fear will still be viable but it means it is on their radar. So one step closer!
-Increased the vertical and horizontal movement in the recoil pattern of the L-Star
-Reduced the projectile size for the L-Star
L-Star was hands down one of the best guns, but then P2020 spiked. I don't think L-Star is just being grabbed by everyone and fear this will make it less viable.
-Ult gained from knocks and assists with Accelerated Weapons has been reduced from 30% - 20%
-Fixed an issue where assists with Accelerated Weapons would sometimes not grant additional ult charge
Now this isn't busted and isn't oddly noticeable. Because usually by that point you have some charge going.
This just goes to show how much respawn is attending to the game. I hope for a bright future with Apex and been with this game so long and just makes me excited to be a part of the community.
