And now it all comes to this. Seven years has led to this one moment. We saw everything. The trial, the aftermath and Phoenix's determination to find the truth of what happened. Now begins the last trial. Apollo must figure out who did it and how it was done. We start with How and it's through nail polish. Now comes who? Who else. Kristoph Gavin.
Kristoph takes the stand and Apollo deduces that he had a reason to want to kill Vera Misham via the nail polish. Adding on that Apollo presents the yellow envelope. It's a fabrication, despite that. But all it does is reveal truth. It's revealed that Kristoph was once Shadi Enigmar's lawyer but after a game of poker that ended with Shadi winning, he was dismissed. Phoenix Wright would end up representing him and that drove Kristoph mad. So he enacted a plan.
For starters, he commissioned “Drew Misham” to make a forged diary page that can be used as evidence. We know it was Vera who did it. Vera was given nail polish as a “gift” and Drew, was ordered to mail back with a stamp. Thankfully, the stamp was saved. Then Kristoph met with Klavier providing him information about the case and the forgery. Things went as planned. Phoenix would present the forged evidence and Klavier would present the witness. But what he didn't know was how it ended. It ended when Shadi Enigmar vanished.
For the next seven years, Kristoph would live in fear. He kept an eye on everyone who was involved. During that time, Phoenix Wright was hard at work investigating. Seven years later, the wheels of fate were in motion. Shadi Enigmar would die as Shadi Smith. Drew Misham would die after licking the stamp and Vera would end up in the hospital. Kristoph believed that evidence was everything. He didn't know that this trial would be the first of a new system. The Jurist System.
Kristoph would slowly descend to madness, learning who was responsible for this: Phoenix Wright. He would break down and snap as a result. The trial then ends and it's now up to the Jurists to make their verdict. It's here you determine Vera's fate. For the sake of things, I am not showing the Bad Ending. Why? Too short and too depressing. If you want to know, if you end up choosing Guilty. The verdict would be a hung jury and declared a mistrial. Vera would die not long after ending the trial.
The canon ending is by choosing Not Guilty. As a result of the verdict, Kristoph Gavin starts laughing. A laugh louder than any ever heard before or since. The following day, a miracle occurs. Vera Misham would open her eyes. Apollo and Trucy meet up with Vera. She thanks Apollo for everything and decides that from now on, she hopes to see the world with her own eyes and become an artist. For real. As for Phoenix Wright, he meets up with Lamiroir who had regained her memories. Thalassa learns that she had two children: Trucy and Apollo. The two don't know their mother nor the fact that they are siblings. Phoenix promises to take care of them to which Thalassa is thankful for.
Thus Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney is over. But this trilogy is far from finished. Next time we begin the fifth entry: Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies. See you then.

Case 4: Turnabout Succession
Apollo takes the case of a young artist accused of murdering her father but the case isn't as black and white as it seems. The past has caught up with the present as hidden truths are exposed. If that isn't enough, all of this relates to the final case of a legendary attorney and his determination to find the truth. Will the culprit be exposed after seven long years? What happens in this case will change the courts and the world forever. Phoenix's legacy will be passed down in this year-gapping final case.
