We start our journey through what actually happened seven years ago and what really got Phoenix disbarred in the first place. The case is a pretty unique one in which Magnifi Gramarye had coerced his two disciples to kill him in his hospital room. We also get to see a very different Phoenix, one that is quite experienced and so well versed that he's pointing out things that he previously needed help with quite often in the first three games. This is a point I like to make about this game in which you get an amazing glimpse into a sudden character arc for Phoenix being pretty good at his job until he eventually loses his badge and is disbarred. But for what exactly got Phoenix disbarred, you'll have to wait until the next episode.
