In this video, Apprentice, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Rainbow Arts.
You play as Zolo, an apprentice mage who wants to enter the Guild of Magicians, but before being admitted he must travel to the world of Fumo the dragon, a colorful and dangerous place with many strange inhabitants. You'll need to solve puzzles, collect keys, defeat enemies and many other little things to achieve final victory in this side-scrolling platform game.
This game sports some very nice tunechip tracks as well as a very polished graphic look with colorful and neat sprites. It's also very enjoyable, the only BIG drawback is the scrolling that seriously affects the gameplay especially when you have to jump over platforms and you cannot calibrate the jump.
Here you'll find loading screens with main title track and gameplay of the first 3 levels.
