In this video, Block Out, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Rainbow Arts.
Ported from the original coin-op, this is a tetris-like puzzle game but instead of 2D lines we have 3D blocks. At a variable speed rate, blocks appear on top of a pit and (more or less) slowly go down until they reach something and become solid. The purpose of the game is to avoid these blocks from reaching the top of the pit. If you fill one entire floor with blocks, this floor disappears and everything on top go down one floor. During their way down you can rotate the block in every of the 3 axis clockwise and counterclockwise. It's easier to play than to explain.
Graphically block out looks very similar to the arcade coin-op, movements are smooth with no slow-downs. The audio is limited to some very little cheap in-game sound fx. The playability is good if you like the tetris-like genre; it's like having the coin-op.
Here you'll find intro and gameplay of 2 different level of difficulty.

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.
