AR Landscaper by Priori Studios is a landscaping design simulation app for Android and iOS which you can use to observe how certain plants, bushes, trees, and some decorations look in your own garden. Place them and see how it looks in your own garden, backyard or for the front of the house.

A more fully-featured app would probably include the ability to connect with online sellers, save a certain landscaping idea and share it online with others so other users can see other people's designs and see if it fits their own location. We might have a social app built-in for also voting, commenting on certain landscaping design ideas that people make and of course we need occlusion to really make the design blend beautifully and naturally with the current objects in the environment.

I find visuazliation augmented reality (AR) apps like this to be very useful for their use case helping consumers decorating their home and pre-visualizing how certain products will look like either alone or alongside other products at the homes without actually needing to buy the product in the first place. This helps consumers make better buying decisions. If the product looks great in the AR app, there is a high chance that the consumers will be satisfied with the real product.

These type of functionality is and will continue to be expanded into the web, so users who browse a product listing on a website, can just tap on link/image and see how the product looks in augmented reality right in front of them (e.g. 8thWall, WebXR).
