GunLift is an arcade-style shooting gallery/shooting range game for iOS that uses augmented reality (AR) motion tracking technology to provide users with more authentic and exciting shooting experience. Instead of using touch controls, you use the iPhone/iPad the controller for controlling the gun, where the weapon is pointing at. Moving the iPhone or iPad will rotate the gun to point into a different location in the 3D space.

Just note that unlike conventional augmented reality games that combine virtual content placed within or on top of the real world scene, the entire scene is virtual.

This type of game that raises some design questions if you plan to developer target shooting arcade games for AR glasses that uses SLAM technologies to map the real world scene and create a virtual 3D replica of its structure, which can then be used to mixed virtual content (in this case targeted) within the real world scene in a more natural way and integrate it in a way that can lead to a better gameplay experience in augmented reality. I talk a bit about that in the video, in future videos, I'll open this discussion much more.
