Elissa has come face to face with the First Necromancer, Kerghan. One who seeks to take the world into the eternal tranquility of death. However, she is a master debater, perhaps she is able to talk him down from committing genocide on not just a global, but a multiversal level.

Or that way of beating the game is seriously bugged, and we've got to just kill him. Such is the way of things.

But this is Arcanum. A wonderful game in a great setting, that's full of so much potential. It's a shame that the game isn't known more, and a real shame that despite the fanbase's best efforts, the game still is a bit of a rickety mess. Still, if this inspires anyone else to pick this game up, I wholeheartedly endorse it. Play a different style! Be a Mage, or Evil, or focus on your physical stats rather than your mental ones. There's no real bad way to play this game!
