Argentina at the 1986 World Cup, where do we start? We have that iconic picture of Diego Maradona and half the Belgian team in the semi-finals, we have the same captain lifting the Jules Rimet Trophy and the Golden Ball award aloft and Maradona scoring the infamous Hand of God goal and the famous Goal of the Century goal against England in the quarter final. However, rewind to June 1985, and Argentina were 9 minutes away from not qualifying automatically for a tournament they ultimately won.
