0Well here's an exciting up-coming action shooter with a heavy nod to Tron and the entire Techno world of 80's and 90's cyber games, movies, art and culture, ARK-ADE VR reflects its inspirations in every frame of this early Alpha demo level.
This is a very first run thru the demo, which has the player defend a moving cubic entity object as it traverses a path filled with enemy units who are hell bent on destroying it, and your job? You guessed it...defend that cube at all costs, and stick with it until it reveals its purpose.
As a lifelong paintball player, I always enjoy a game which allows me to use my natural combat sense and tactics, and ARK-ADE VR played out very well from a pure shooter/combat point of view.
Excellent visuals thruout, very good art direction, solid gameplay, if not basic at this point, but, I believe this demo is only displaying the tip of the ice berg from this international team of passionate artists and Devs working together to bring a vision of an 80's cyber dream battle come to life. It's not perfect of course, but, its definitely aiming high, and has every chance of reaching some very high level action on a lot of headsets in the very near future.
There's a lot to like here, there are things that still need work, but the basic frame work here is very good, clean, has a Professional feel for the most part. Intelligent use of available material shows this small team isnt being held back, and there's a lot to hope for here with ARK-ADE VR, and a lot to be yet seen after the full games release in Q4 2021
