More often than not, the bigger dinosaurs don't continue to attack when they are about to be knocked out, but sometimes that Alpha dinosaurs will keep coming back. Otherwise you need a trap to prevent them from running off. If you find the spot where you built a Hunters Platform a good location, you are likely going to want to make it bigger and install all the things normal for a base of operations, or fort. That is what part 2 is about, how to proceed to make the Hunters Platform larger. Since a Hunters Platform is elevated to avoid the taller dinosaurs from being able to attack, this will be a platform on top of more than a few pillars.
